How to Ensure Proper Adjustment and Installation of the Shift Cable on a Ford Mustang?

In order to fix the shift cable, make sure the car is in neutral on a hoist. Disconnect the bracket and selector lever cable and remove it, then disconnect it to the transmission manual lever. Reconnect the new cable, tighten bracket bolts to 28 Nm and lock the adjustment.
