To service the thermostat housing, drain the cooling system and remove the air cleaner outlet pipe and throttle body and unplug hoses and the coolant temperature sensor. Unscrew the lower bolts, change the housing and screw it 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs. ). Follow the reverse steps to install and refill the cooling system.
