You should remove the cowl vent screen then apply non-alcohol glass cleaner to both exterior and interior windshield glass surfaces. Properly cut urethane adhesive applicator tips will prepare you for using a high-ratio caulk gun operated by electric or battery power to spread urethane adhesive which must create a uniform bead without openings between the adhesive and windshield. Apply urethane adhesive over the top and sides of the windshield located inside the vehicle then apply adhesive from the outside to the lower part of the windshield. The urethane adhesive needs one hour of cure time before you inspect for leaks. Additional urethane adhesive should be added if required. Reinstall the cowl vent screen then place the front part of the headliner while reattaching the left-hand and right-hand sun visors with screws. The next step will be to install the two visor clips and screws along with the overhead console and right-hand and left-hand windshield side garnish mouldings and pin-type retainers when using the convertible top configuration. Complete the process by readjusting both wiper blade and pivot arms if required.
