Disconenct the mounting arm and pivot shaft linkage through the output shaft of the wiper motor by taking out the bolt and applying Threadlock to it if you plan to use it again afterward which should be tightened to 17 Nm (13 lb-ft). The repair of the windshield wiper motor begins by removing three securing bolts followed by tightening these bolts to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft) during reinstallation.
