How to Service and Repair the Accelerator Cable on Ford Ranger?

To have access to the accelerator cable, loosen bolts that hold the splash shield of the accelerator control. Unhook the cable of the throttle lever, press tabs to take it out of the intake manifold, unhook it of the accelerator pedal and shaft, pressing tabs to unhook fully. Install the reverse to reinstall.
