How to service the blower motor resistor on Ford Taurus?

To service the blower motor resistor, begin by unscrewing the RH lower insulator- cover of the instrument panel. Next, unplug the electrical connector and remove the 2 screws that secure the blower motor resistor. After removing the resistor, reconnect it by following the steps of removing it in reverse.
