How to Service the Door Jamb Switch for the Alarm on Ford Taurus?

To service the door disarm switch, you have to disconnect the battery, take off the door trim panel and watershield, and then remove the E-clip and unconnect the latch lever. Note the position of the switch prior to removing. Once the old switch is disconnected, put the new one in place with the reference marks and do it in reverse.
