How to Service and Repair the A/C Condenser Core of the HVAC System on Ford Thunderbird?

Begin the condenser core HVAC system repair and servicing process by hoisting the vehicle and setting its gear selector to NEUTRAL position. Recover the refrigerant before removing the center underbody deflector shield. Follow the sequence to remove respective parts one by one. For installation follow the reverse steps of removal while properly lubricating the refrigerant system with the necessary amount of clean PAG oil. Complete the refrigerant system operation by evacuating it followed by leak testing before performing a charge on the system. The installation of a new receiver drier needs to be performed only when physical evidence shows contamination produced by an A/C compressor failure or receiver drier damage exists. Before reconnecting any A/C fitting detachment it is necessary to lubricate new O-ring seals with clean PAG oil.
