  A: The service process for cabin air filter requires left-hand and right-hand cowl side trim removal along with the windshield wiper pivot arms. Start your service by removing the nut cover and then remove both the nut and the pivot arm. Start by putting the cowl vent screen to the side to remove pin-type retainers while disconnecting retaining clips. First expose the right-hand corner of the cabin air filter before pushing it to free the retaining clip. Afterward remove the left-hand retaining clip and extract the filter. Installation requires performing the opposite actions of removal by placing the chrome wiper pivot arms next to the orange alignment markers of the windshield.
