How to service and repair the EGR valve on Ford Thunderbird?

The EGR valve repair requires removal of the EGR tube as well as the vacuum hose from the EGR valve before continuing. The EGR valve can be detached after unbolted sections so the valve becomes accessible for removal. Replace the old gasket while completely cleaning both the sealing surfaces. The service and repair process includes following the reverse order of removal while using a new gasket.
