How to service the Wheel Stud for Single Rear Wheel (SRW) on Ford F-350 Super Duty?

A proper servicing of Single Rear Wheel (SRW) wheel fastener starts with removing the wheel hub and brake disc assembly. A proper press should be used to uninstall the current wheel stud while throwing it away. When installing the new wheel stud place it at the wheel hub and brake disc assembly with its serrated rotor flange slots matching the ones produced originally by the factory wheel stud. A suitable press will help you install the new wheel stud before you restore the wheel hub and brake disc assembly.

How to service and repair the dual rear wheel (DRW) wheel studs on Ford E-150?

The dual rear wheel (DRW) wheel stud service and repair starts by taking off the wheel and tire. The service requires use of the C-Frame alongside the Screw Installer/Remover for old wheel stud removal and disposal. Place the new wheel stud so its serrations match the wheel adapter flange produced by the former stud. Placing four washers of proper size that exceed the wheel stud serration dimensions needs to be done on the outside end of the wheel stud. The wheel stud should receive a standard wheel nut which needs to be tightened until the wheel stud head reaches the wheel extension flange backside. Before moving to the next step, the wheel nut and washers should be removed while installing the wheel along with its tire.
