How to service and repair the alternator on Ford Windstar?

In case of alternator repair the first thing to do is to disconnect the battery ground cable. Next remove the accessory drive belt and generator electrical connectors. Disconnect wiring harness locator and take out generator bolts. To install, reverse all of these steps, always re-attaching the ground strap to the front generator bolt.
