A correct start to service and repair the ignition coil requires the electrical connector removal followed by unplugging the spark plug wires through the process of tab squeezing and upward twisting motion. Before removing the spark plug wires proper marking of their positions needs to be done since it is essential to install them correctly to the ignition coil terminal. When removing the spark plug wire boots do it while twisting them to stop any possible harm to the system. The ignition coil removal starts by removing four bolts which allows you to clean the ignition coil towers with a soapy dampened cloth. The installation process should follow the exact opposite of these removal steps.
