How to service the knock sensor (KS) on Lincoln Aviator?

When servicing the knock sensor (KS), it is recommended to begin by disconnection of the battery ground cable. Take out the lower intake manifold and the electrical connector of the KS. Loosen the bolts that affix the knock sensor and remove it. To install, follow these steps in reverse, but make sure that the bolts on the knock sensor are tightened to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft).
