How to service and repair the automatic transmission shifter on Lincoln Blackwood?

Begin with the removal of the lower dash panel in order to service and repair the automatic transmission shifter. Then take out the components as in the diagram and table. In order to be installed again, take the reverse steps of removal. When fitting the transmission gear selector lever pin, make sure that you press it until the head is firmly in place.
