Lincoln Blackwood Blower Motor Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to service the blower motor located in the center console on Lincoln Blackwood?
A: Service of the center console blower motor begins by taking the ducts out from the center console. Start by unfastening three nuts holding the assembly before loosening the motor connection to decrease the console base. Start by disconnecting the blower motor harness connectors before removing the blower motor resistor by detaching its connector and unbolting the resistor. To access the lower duct cover of the blower motor start by removing its five screws until you can detach the duct cover. You should first unscrew the three bolts which secure the upper duct cover to detach it from the setup. Perform the final step by detaching the blower motor using two bolt removal followed by connector disconnection and motor extraction. Reinstall the equipment through steps that are opposite to the disassembly steps.
