Lincoln Brake Proportioning Valve Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair the Brake Proportioning Valve on Lincoln Continental?
A: To service the brake proportioning/combination valve, remove the battery tray and disconnect the brake tubes from the brake pressure control valve. Since the valve is serviced as an assembly, remove the retaining screw and take it out. Reverse the procedure to install the new assembly and bleed the brakes.
