The accelerator cable requires removal from its retainer positioned on the battery tray after taking off the tie wrap which stabilizes the cable to the Brake Master Cylinder. The first step requires uncrossing the bolts that fasten the accelerator cable to the dash panel until complete removal of the instrument panel steering column cover.
