How to service and repair the thermostat on Lincoln Continental?

To service the thermostat, make sure that the engine is cool then take out the pressure relief cap. Lift the vehicle, partially empty the cooling system and remove lower radiator hose. Take out the connection inlet and thermostat and check the O-ring seal whether it is damaged. To reinstall, use the reverse process.
