In order to service the EGR Valve, loosen the engine cover and parts as illustrated. Disassemble the vacuum harness and EGR module-to-exhaust manifold tube and pull out the intake manifold. In order to install again one should follow the steps in reverse: firstly install the intake manifold, reconnect the tube and reconnect the vacuum harness.

Next, take the EGR valve out, loosening the bolts, and getting rid of the old gasket and wiping the sealing surfaces.
