Disassemble the oil cooler bolt to reveal the components while discarding its gasket afterward inspect the oil cooler separately. Thoroughly check both the gasket along with the surfaces for impurities before applying clean engine oil to the gasket. Install the oil cooler onto its place using a new gasket while fitting the bolt by rotating the cooler until its locating pin reaches the stop before tightening the bolt to 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.). Place a new gasket under clean engine oil and position it onto the new oil filter until the seal touches the surface. Then employ an oil filter strap wrench and tighten the filter 270 degrees beyond normal. The two coolant hoses should be connected to the oil cooler and then clean engine oil needs to be installed before reconnecting the battery ground cable.
