How to Service and Repair the Transmission Pan on Lincoln LS?

In order to service the fluid pan, hoist up the vehicle and empty the fluid. Wipe off and clean the reusable gasket. Take away the fluid pan and filter and clean the pan. Install a new converter drain plug, grease the filter O-rings and tighten the pan. Lastly, test the fluid level.
