Service of the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor begins with disconnecting the electrical connector before taking out the sensor bolt to remove the MAP sensor unit. Separate the MAP sensor from its place by removing its bolt and extracting the sensor. The bolt securing the new sensor should be tightened to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
