    Q:
How to service the MAP Sensor on Ford Fusion? Posted by Customer
    A:
Service of the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor begins with disconnecting its electrical connector. The sensor requires release of its bolt before extraction of the MAP sensor from the system. After installing the new sensor keep the bolt tight at 6 Nm while following the specifications of 53 lb-in. Relocate and secure the sensor by using the additional bolt hole found in the intake manifold when the installation bolt does not reach the specified torque. A complete inspection must take place on the sealing surface as part of the installation procedure reversal.

    Q:
How to Service the MAP Sensor on Lincoln Zephyr? Posted by Customer
    A:
Service of the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor begins with disconnecting the electrical connector before taking out the sensor bolt to remove the MAP sensor unit. Separate the MAP sensor from its place by removing its bolt and extracting the sensor. The bolt securing the new sensor should be tightened to 6 Nm (53 lb-in). The specified torque must be maintained by the bolt or you should move the sensor to the intake manifold auxiliary bolt position. The sealing surface needs thorough examination followed by cleaning right before putting it into service. To finish the installation reverse all steps of the removal procedure.
