In order to fix the evaporative emission canister purge valve, disconnect the battery ground cable and avoid sparks. Make sure there are no fires or smokes around. Unscrew the electrical connector and fuel vapor tube connections and take out the valve. Fit the new valve by the reverse of these operations.
