The first action is to remove the lower steering column shroud screw followed by a gentle push toward the inside of the upper and lower shroud covers for separation before removing the lower shroud. The next step requires unscrewing the two elements securing the upper steering column shroud before removing it. First execute the screw removal to release the tab afterward move the multi-function switch to a separate position. Detach the electrical connector from the multi-function switch before removing the switch from service. The installation ends when you follow the same reverse procedure you used for removal.
