Air Bag module. Steering wheel nut torques to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft) while the reference marks between steering wheel and column shaft must be recorded prior to steering wheel nut removal. Separate the steering wheel switches electrical connector from its place but protect the column shaft without hammer impacts by using a suitable puller to remove the steering wheel. Apply tape to the Clock Spring center rotor so it cannot move when attached to the outer housing. The completion of installation requires following the reverse procedure for removal and using the reference mark for steering wheel alignment.
