The first step to servicing the moonroof windguard requires you to position the roof opening panel glass completely in the open direction. First loosen then remove the 2 screws of the front roof opening panel air deflector before installation where tightness should be set at 1 Nm (9 lb-in). You should lift upward while pulling to unlock the springs on both sides in order to take out the air deflector assembly. Reverse the steps for installation in order to complete assembly.
