Service of the intake air duct requires unconnecting both the crankcase vent tube and vacuum tube from the air cleaner outlet pipe. The installer should unfasten the clamp which joins the air cleaner outlet pipe to the cover then tighten it to 5 Nm (44 lb-in) torque when replacing the piece. The connection between the throttle body and air cleaner outlet pipe requires loosening a clamp prior to removing the air cleaner outlet pipe. After reinstalling secure the clamp at 5 Nm (44 lb-in). A secure seal of the air cleaner outlet pipe is essential to block unmetered air entry into the engine before performing the installation by undoing the removal steps.
