How to Service and Repair the Shift Cable for the 6-Speed and FNR5 Transaxles on Lincoln MKZ?

To replace the selector lever cable in 6-speed and FNR5 transaxles, disassemble heater core, RCM and battery tray. Disassemble bracket by removing the cable, disconnect the cable on the manual lever and pulling out the cable. Install again by tying the cable back, reconnecting parts and manipulating as needed.
