The installation requires disconnecting the Clock Spring electrical connector of the steering wheel switches while passing both driver air bag module connectors and harness through the steering wheel. Apply tape around the center rotor of the Clock Spring to stop its rotation while in the outer housing. Ending the installation requires following the repair steps in reverse order by aligning the steering wheel with the reference mark while installing the driver air bag module.
