Trailing Arm is a part of the trailing-link suspension system in the Lincoln Navigator automobiles and serves to join the axle to the chassis. Its main purpose is to reduce undesirable motion of the axle, thus improving the stability and roadholding of the car. First discard the lower trailing arm-to-frame bolt as well as its flagnut and when installing the new counterpart tighten it to 275 Nm (203 lb-ft). When you remove the lower trailing arm maintain the lower trailing arm-to-frame bolt loose until finishing all steps and allowing the vehicle weight to rest on the wheel assemblies.
