Remove the TCS harness from all its locators while separating the selector lever cover from the steerig column. The selector lever failure prevention requires discarding the old selector lever pin before you remove both the selector lever pin and the selector lever. The old selector lever pin must be discarded as it prevents selector lever failure so take out the selector lever pin plus selector lever. The installation process for the selector lever should follow the reverse order of removal steps.
