The next step involves disconnecting brake master cylinder nuts and wiring harness bracket which should be placed to the side. You should take out the brake master cylinder from its position then place it carefully to one side. Remove first the pushpins and instrument close-out panel and after that extract the retaining pin with washer and bushing and switch until the booster pushrod slips off from the pedal pin. Proceed to detach the power brake booster nuts next. All brake switches should be oriented for installation by placing the closed end toward the brake pedal arm while the open end points upward. The correct orientation of brake booster input rod becomes essential during its installation process. When reinstalling proceed in the opposite order of what was performed for the removal.
