The servicing process for the front bumper cover begins by removing 5 pin-type retainers as well as the radiator upper sight shield. Position the vehicle in neutral on a hoist after which you can remove the 2 lower radiator
Air Deflector-to-radiator support bolts but secure these bolts at 4 Nm (35 lb-in) when reinstalling them. The sequence of service requires you to remove the 8 lower radiator air deflector bolts with their matching air deflectors while tightening everything to 4 Nm (35 lb-in). Replace the bumper cover-to-fender nuts, distribute three on each side and fasten them to 7 Nm (62 lb-in) torque when reinstalling. The vehicle requires fog lamp disconnection which includes turning off their electric connectors. Start by removing first one screw from each side of the front bumper cover. After that, remove the front bumper cover-to-vertical shield screws which must be tightened at 4 Nm (35 lb-in) when reinstalling. To detach the front bumper cover slide its sides open while pressing the retaining tabs forward then remove it from the vehicle. Reinstallation of the bumper cover will be done by performing the installation steps in reverse order.
