How to service and repair a door lock cylinder on Lincoln Town Car?

The door lock cylinder servicing process requires initial removal of front door trim panel together with the door handle. A new individual lock cylinder is built from scratch through the correct lock repair package following the step-by-step instructions provided for matching theexisting key code of the vehicle. The technician must first uninstall the retainer for the door lock cylinder then disconnect the door lock cylinder. Before extracting the door lock cylinder technicians need to remove first the actuating lever and the E-clip.
