The servicing process of a throttle body must begin with a secure environment free of smoking devices and open flames since the system contains highly flammable mixtures. Proceed with caution since the throttle body bore and plate area feature an uncleanable special coating. The procedure must begin by removing the tube from the air cleaner and disconnecting the electrical connectors from the TP sensor and then proceeding to separate the accelerator cable and speed control actuator cable. The throttle return spring requires detachment before removing the four securing bolts of the throttle body while discarding the Throttle Body (TB) gasket. Installation requires following the backward steps of removal procedures.
