Service and repair operations on throttle cable and linkage start by removing both the front engine appearance cover and the throttle return spring. First disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle body lever followed by screw removal from the bracket and detachment of the cable from the accelerator cable bracket. Extract the accelerator cable out from its clip while removing the attached nuts. Disassemble the accelerator cable from both the pedal and shaft until the non-memory pedal is exposed although memory pedal solution is identical. Pull the cable through the dash panel by removing the accelerator cable retainer so you can take out the cable entirely from the vehicle. The installation process should consist of performing the removal steps in reverse order.
