How to service and repair the evaporative emission canister purge valve on Lincoln Zephyr?

The evaporative emission canister purge valve may be repaired by first disconnecting the battery ground cable, removing the lower cowl panel, and loosening the electrical connector and vapor tubes. Take the valve out, place the new one in following the reverse steps and carry out leak test and verification drive cycle.
