How to service and repair the instrument panel dimmer switch on Lincoln Zephyr?

In order to replace the dimmer switch on the instrument panel, one has to remove the side finish panel and disconnect the battery. Use a push and pull to take out the multi-function switch assembly and connectors. To install the dimmer switch, reverse the process, four tabs are to be released, and then the new switch is to be installed.
