How to service the radiator cooling fan motor on Mercury Cougar?

In order to service radiator cooling fan motor, you need to unbolster the battery ground, lift up the vehicle and take away the splash shield. Disassemble electrical connections, take off the suction accumulator where fitted with AC and remove fan shroud. Lastly, undo the steps of removal to install.
