How to Service the Crankshaft Position Sensor on Mercury Grand Marquis?

To maintain the CKP sensor, turn off the fire suppress system. Place the vehicle on a hoist, take off drive belt, disconnect the A/C compressor connector and CKP sensor connector. Loose the compressor bolts and then disconnect and reconnect CKP sensor, afterwards repowering fire suppression system.
