Service the Throttle Position Sensor by turning off the battery ground cable first and then remove the engine appearance cover. Next, disconnect the electrical connector on the Throttle Position (TP) sensor and remove the sensor. These steps need to be reversed in order to install.

In order to service the throttle position (TP) sensor, loosen screws by turning them 1- 2 turns and remove them completely. Take off the old sensor and screws. Re-fit a new TP sensor and screws, with locator tab, and screw tighten to 3 Nm. Reconnect the electric connector.
