The procedure to service front crankshaft seal begins with pulley crankshaft removal. The Crankshaft Front Oil Seal Remover should be employed to accomplish the removal of the crankshaft front seal. Clean engine oil should be used to lubricate both the engine front cover and the inner lip of the crankshaft front seal. The installation of a new crankshaft front seal into the engine front cover must be done with the Crankshaft Front Oil Seal Installer, Crankshaft Vibration Damper Installer and Front Cover Oil Seal Installer. Finally, reinstall the crankshaft pulley.
