How to service the front crankshaft seal on Mercury Grand Marquis?

In order to remove the front crankshaft seal, take off the crankshaft pulley and remove the seal with Crankshaft Front Oil Seal Remover. Add clean oil to the lubrication of the engine front cover and seal lip, fit the new seal with proper installers and reassemble the crankshaft pulley.
