How to Safely Remove and Replace the Flywheel on Mercury Grand Marquis?

To change flexplate switch off the fire suppression and lift the vehicle in neutral. Take out the transmission and the 6 flexplate bolts. Installation of the new flexplate requires one to install the bolts, in that order, and then reassemble the transmission and re-power the fire suppression system.
