How to service the sunroof or moonroof panel on Mercury Grand Marquis?

The first step for service of a sunroof or moonroof panel includes removing the roof opening panel trim pieces. First tighten the four roof opening panel glass screws to 4 Nm (35 lb-in) during implementation before removing the screws and placing glass into the flush position. Outside the vehicle no one should lift the roof opening panel glass with proper caution from its place on the vehicle. End the installation steps by performing the opposite actions of removal while maintaining proper alignment of the roof opening panel glass.
