How to service and repair the Wiper Linkage on Mercury Marauder?

To service and repair the wiper motor linkage, remove cowl grille. Then set the evaporative emission canister purge valve to the side and take out the nuts from the valve. After that, position the valve aside and then move the mounting arm and pivot shaft out of the way by removing the bolts. Remove and disconnect the mounting arm and pivot shaft after removing bolts - disconnect electrical connector and windshield washer hose. Installation is the reverse of the above removal procedure.
