To service and repair the blower motor switch, the instrument panel center finish panel must be removed. Next remove the switch knob of the blower motor. At the same time press the tabs in order to release the switch of the blower motor. All that is needed is to invert these steps to install the new switch.

How to Service Blower Control Switches on Mercury Mariner?

In order to service the blower motor switch, remove the electrical connector of the blower motor speed control and lower the glove compartment. Take off two screws used to hold it in place, strict tightening to 3 Nm (27 lb-in) when replacing. Lastly, install the blower motor speed control again in the same manner the blower motor speed control was removed.
