How to service the brake light switch on Mercury Mariner?

Removal of brake light switch requires the brake pedal, booster and master cylinder to be in place. Installation- When installing the brake pedal arm, the booster push rod should be secured to the brake pedal arm without pressing on the pedal. Once the switch is taken out, rotate clockwise and remove the electrical connector; then install in reverse.
