In order to service and repair the dimmer switch to the instrument panel, the panel of the instrument cluster finish has to be removed first. Pull the dimmer switch out of the back by pulling the tabs. After release of the tabs, disassemble the dimmer switch. The only thing to do to install a new switch is to do all these steps in reverse.

In order to service the headlamp dimmer switch, disconnect electrical connectors, unscrew the multifunction switch, and remove the Clock Spring. To reinstall it, follow the steps backwards. Do not take out the ignition lock cylinder and ignition switch simultaneously because it would cause the steering column destruction.
